CTEK MXS 4003 belongs to a new generation of chargers that provide complete, safe and effective battery care. It is fully-automatic with unique 8-step charging and supplies an optimised 0.8 A charge for small battery types and a 4 A-charge for normal size 12V batteries between 1.2-90 Ah and suitable for maintenance charging up to 140 Ah.
MXS 4003 can analyse whether the battery can accept and retain the charge, it removes harmful lead sulphate crystals, it charges efficiently and automatically switches to the patented maintenance charge when the battery is fully charged.
The very practical Recond mode balances the acid concentration in deep discharged batteries. It features a special cold mode to give optimal charging on cold winter days and to demanding AGM batteries (type Optima). It is fully protected from producing voltages that can damage the vehicle's electronics. It is also non-sparking and features reverse polarity and short circuit protection. MXS 4003 comes with a five year guarantee.
